Laura & Sam: Nashville Wedding Photographer

About a month or so ago I received a beautiful wedding invitation from my friend, Laura. I've known Laura since our freshmen year at Lipscomb University when we both pledged Delta Omega women's social club. We have some pretty hilarious memories from pledge week and I'm so glad I got to know this crazy girl during that lonnngg week! Laura however, had no idea that she would be meeting her future husband that very same week. Part of DO's pledge book includes taking so many pictures with the people whose signatures you obtain. As fate would have it, she just happened to take a picture with Mr. Sam Young. A while later, they became friends, and the rest is history.
I stepped out on a limb and asked Laura what she thought about having a second-shooter on her wedding day, just to get another perspective, and for me to get some extra practice in. She then graciously let me second-shoot her beautiful wedding a couple weeks later, and I was so thrilled to do so! The main-photographer, Derek Lee, was great to worth with, and I know his shots have got to be simply stunning.
Here are a few of my favorites from Laura and Sam's beyond perfect day.
The ceremony was held at Vanderbilt's Scarritt Bennett Wightman Chapel and the reception was at Marathon Village overlooking the Nashville skyline.
Don't forget to check out more of the photos in her slideshow by clicking HERE

Best wishes, Laura and Sam!!
