Tonya & Chris: Nashville Engagement Photographer

While I was in Nashville for Easter weekend, I got to schedule a very last minute photo shoot of a beautiful best friend of mine, Miss Tonya. Tonya and her fiance, Chris, are absolutely adorable, and are always so much fun to spend time with! You can tell after just a few minutes how in love they are, and how close they are. We decided to head out towards Leipers Fork and see what scenic locations we could stumble upon. Well, we hit the jackpot. THE jackpot. Literally, it looked like it was strait out of a storybook. As soon as we drove by it I slammed on the brakes, and said "we are shooting here! get out of the car!" It was late afternoon and the sun was glistening through the trees at the perfect angle. The leaves were a perfect shade of green, and you could hear the river trickling just beyond. I was ecstatic at what we found and I think we got some beautiful shots!
Check out my favorites below, or click HERE, for the slideshow, which you can also view HERE on my new website. *Make sure to turn your speakers on* (Go to Galleries, then Portraits, then follow the link) If you visit the first link, make sure you give it a moment to load. (I accidentally made the background white so you can't see the controls, but it will start playing once it's loaded :) don't worry, on the next one I'll remember to fix that)

Love you guys!

Levi's Senior Portraits: Searcy Portrait Photographer

Recently I was given the opportunity to take senior portraits of my new friend, Levi. His mom wanted to try and get some shots of him that brought out his personality, and I think we did just that! Who knew he was such a model, look at that serious face! We had a blast scouring the best spots in town and giving him his moment in the spotlight. Here are my favorites from the day!

Happy graduation, Levi!

Wedded Bliss: Chicago Wedding Photographer

Well, as you've probably figured out by now, I'm on my way to becoming a wedding photographer. Or at least, that's the plan! My Chicago internship was centered around shooting a full 11-hour wedding. The couple, Dave & Esther, were absolutely ADORABLE and were so easy going and naturals in front of all 3 cameras. The bride's dress looked like it was made specially for her and the flowers were stunning. I couldn't have asked for a better couple when shooting my first full wedding! Myself, and another intern, Amanda, were 'second shooters' alongside miss Sarah Barlow. It was an incredible experience. Not only had I never been able to freely shoot throughout an entire wedding, but I was able to see how Sarah worked and learn what settings, angles, poses, etc. she used throughout the entire day.
It. was. so. much. fun.
I was in Heaven.
These are a few of my favorites, let me know what you think, and show them to your friends!
