Real Life

This past weekend I was fortunate enough to hitch it on up to Rogersville, MO to Samuel Cedars, a beautiful outdoor wedding venue on the property of my fiance's uncle. They had an open house featuring some of their vendors, and I set up a table in hopes of meeting future clients. It was a great experience, and I already can't wait to do another wedding show sometime.
My table may not have been the spiffiest, but I tried to portray my business in a simple way. I'm in the middle of re-branding and making things more rustic and simplistic feeling, so I loaded up on rustic picture frames and threw on a burlap table runner with a few accent mason jars. Unfortunately my 16X20 canvas print I ordered didn't make it in time, so maybe it will make an appearance at the next event. Not at all knowing what to expect, it was fun to see how other vendors displayed, and what types of questions curious clients ask.
We also chowed down on the famous Ingle toffee, which Adam's cousin is already taking orders for the holiday season. Trust me, it's good stuff!
Afterwords, I spent some time playing with their aaaaadorable golden retriever puppy, Thor. In. Love.
My goal is to rescue my own golden retriever and name her, Ladybird. Yes yes. It will happen! Maybe this time next year I'll be documenting her shnanigans :-)

It was a fun weekend with future family.
