This blog post is so surreal to me. Meet one of my best friends: Jessica, and her sweet fiance, Charlie! I've actually known Jess since we were little, as we grew up going to the same church. Things changed over the years, we both got super busy, and life moved on. We were able to reconnect & become super close when I transferred to Lipscomb University mid-freshman year. It was such a blessing to basically start over and really get to know each other outside of those awkward youth group days! She is just awesome. Plain & simple. Many a epic road-trips were taken during our Lipscomb days and man do we have some funny tales to tell! She & and a few other girls and I nicknamed ourselves 'the core' and I will never forget our silly adventures! Fast forward 3 or 4 years, and here she is, engaged to be married in July!! I think we all knew as soon as she started dating Charlie that this would be the one. She knew what she wanted, she found it, she got it, and here they are! Couldn't be happier for her! Love you Jess, and Charlie, you're pretty cool too!
She asked me to take a few pictures for their Save The Date cards, and I was super excited. Despite trespassing & a little off-roading, we made it happen! I just about fell over when I saw how beautiful the fog in the field looked against their outfit choice. We both are quite fond of "pretty greys" so I think we were spot on :-) Here are my favorites from our foggy-early-morning session!
